Bayesian Methods for Clinical and Observational Studies - Final workshop
January 24, 2025
Department of Statistics, Computer Science, Applications "G. Parenti"
Polo Didattico Morgagni, Room 120, 1st floor
With the final workshop of BayesMeCOS, we aim to share and disseminate the results of our research and exchange ideas with other scholars who are researching these topics.
Everybody is invited to attend the workshop!
The event is free, but registration is required for logistic purposes.
Register here by January 10, 2025.
BayesMeCOS, funded by Next Generation EU, was born out of the need to go beyond the "one drug, one target disease" strategy. Over the past two years, we have pursued several lines of research, ranging from the use of external data in clinical trials to the use of biomarkers to make treatment allocation more effective to the evaluation of causal effects of treatment in clinical trials with complications.
Each session will host a total of 3 speakers and an
open discussion with the audience moderated by one discussant
(Preliminary Program)
A
poster session with aperitif will follow the 3 sessions: any poster in line with the workshop topics (biostatistics, Bayesian methods, causal inference) will be considered for presentation.
Submit your title & abstract here if you want to present your work at the workshop.
