How to reach Florence and the conference building

It is possible to reach Florence:

• By plane, arriving at “Amerigo Vespucci" Airport (Aeroporto di Firenze-Peretola, Via del Termine 11, Firenze). At this link, it is possible to find the timetable of flights to Florence. If you use websites such as Skyscanner, Flygo, eDReams, and others, to book a flight, choose “Firenze Peretola (FLR)” as destination. From the Airport, it is possible to reach the venue by the T2 tram line directed to “Unità” until the stop “Alamanni” and then by taking the T1 tram line directed to Careggi-Ospedale. Your stop is “Morgagni-Università”.
• By train, arriving at Santa Maria Novella Central Station (Firenze SMN). You can use the Trenitalia or Italo website or app, choosing “Firenze S. M. Novella” as the destination.
  From Firenze S. M. Novella railway station you can reach the “Morgagni Campus” by tram, by taking the T1 line to Careggi-Ospedale; your stop is “Morgagni-Università” (about 20 minutes). The venue is less then100 metres far from the Morgagni-Università stop.
• by car (A1 or A11). Exit the A1 and take the A11 towards Florence, following it to the end (heading towards Firenze city centre/airport). Then follow the signs to Rifredi, Ospedale di Careggi; alternatively, you can leave your car at “Villa Costanza” interchange car park (accessible from the A1, near Scandicci) and reach the Department by tram, taking the T1 line Careggi-Ospedale and getting off at the Morgagni-Università stop (about 40 minutes).
