CV Rossella Berni

Rossella Berni obtained a PhD in Applied Statistics from the University of Florence in 1995.
Since 1995 she has been a researcher; currently, she is Full Professor at the University of Florence, Department of Statistics, Computer Science, Applications "G. Parenti".
She has been a member of the Italian Statistical Society (SIS) since 1996 and a member of the European Network for Business and Industrial Statistics (ENBIS www.enbis.org) since 2002.
She was ENBIS Vice-President (2017-2019), and she has been an IEEE member (2012-2017).
Currently, she is Leader of itENBIS (ENBIS Italian Part), and Director of the Interuniversity Research Center StEering: design, quality, and reliability.
She is also the Vice-Coordinator of the University of Florence Node of the Highly specialized Competence Center "Advanced Robotics, Augmented Reality and Enabling Digital Technologies & Systems 4.0 (ARTES 4.0).
Her current research interests include the design of experiments, response surface methodology, robust process optimization, choice experiments, and optimal experimental designs.
