Statistical information systems for the analysis of complex contexts
In this research area we deal with: Statistical information systems for heterogeneous data (from archiving to artificial intelligence and the semantic web). Systems and technologies supporting the management of metadata and meta-information. Ontologies for the harmonisation and governance of administrative sources. Machine Learning in support of coding protocols for unstructured sources.
Among the specific topics, we are dealing particularly with:
Assessment of training policies, in the academic field and elsewhere, and, more generally, assessment of the impact of public policies and of the effectiveness of public services. Analysis, design and development of information systems (both web-applications and stand-alone applications) for the assessment. Design and implementation of databases and datawarehousing solutions. Development of scenarios for the simulation of complex realities with random content.
