The DiSIA administrative offices are at viale Morgagni 59, in the northern part of Florence, near Careggi hospital.
Arriving by motorway it is best to exit the A1 and take the A11 towards Florence, following it to the end (heading towards Firenze city centre/airport). Then follow the signs for Rifredi, Ospedale di Careggi; alternatively, you can leave your car at the Villa Costanza interchange car park (accessible from the A1, near Scandicci) and reach the Department by tram, taking the T1 for Careggi-Ospedale and getting off at the Morgagni-Università stop (about 40 minutes).
From Firenze S. M. Novella railway station you can reach the Department by tram, taking the T1 for Careggi-Ospedale and getting off at the Morgagni-Università stop (about 20 minutes). Several Autolinee Toscane buses run near the Department.
The nearest railway station is Firenze Rifredi, which is about a 10-minute walk from the Department. Take via dello Steccuto as far as the traffic lights, turn right into via Reginaldo Giuliani, then left along via S. Stefano in Pane to the junction with viale Morgagni and turn left.
There are trains to and from Firenze S. M. Novella - Firenze Rifredi every 10-15 minutes.
